Welcome to the Pet Photography



Bokeh is the filtering of light behind the subject to form appealing patterns of light. In this image, the sunlight behind Louis is being filtered by the roses and shrubs in the garden to create beautiful circular areas.
A wide aperture of 2.8 was used for a shallow depth of field. I positioned Louis close to me and further from the background, which helped create these gorgeous patterns of light (bokeh.)

    I think flowers in the background often do make/contribute to a great bokeh! Sometimes even little clover flowers look like pin points of light in a photo. ReplyCancel
